Rosemary started her career in the NHS as a Healthcare Assistant in 1998 whilst pursuing her nursing studies with Bedfordshire University (previously Luton University). After qualifying as a General Registered Nurse from, she worked in various National Health Service (NHS) hospitals in London, from cardiac wards to gynaecology and breast care ward for four years.

Whilst working on the wards, she developed an interest in health promotion and was made the health promotion link nurse for staff on her ward. It was during this time that she began to take an interest in what we can do to help our own colleague if they have issues or health problems at work.

She then topped up her Nursing Diploma to a degree by completing a BSc in community Nursing (Specialist Occupational Health Nursing) in 2008 at Brunel University. During her career in Occupational Health (OH), she has been very fortunate to work with some very talented OH professionals from the NHS to various industries such as Local authority, Finance, manufacturing, and universities. She learned and gained a lot of experience and skills from the OH professional and has applied their knowledge to her own practice.

In her career, she has had the opportunity to support the development of OH services. She learned a lot from the challenges of being an OH nurse and the need to raise her profile as recognised and valuable members of the team that she works in.

In 2008 started a part-time Master’s Degree in Public Health with St Mary’s University, London. After her degree, she left the NHS as a Senior Specialist Nurse Advisor in 2010 and became self-employed. She later set up a private Occupational Health service, delivering high-quality occupational health service to SME's with sickness absence management, fitness to work medicals, health surveillance, health and wellbeing, new starter screening, workplace immunisations and travel health advice and vaccinations.

OH Physician

Dr Victor Olowookere MBChB DFSRH Adv Dip OccMed. Victor is a dedicated and compassionate medical professional with extensive training, experience and qualifications in General Practice and Occupational Medicine. He is an Accredited Doctor and Examiner for OGUK medicals, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVs) medicals, as well as an Appointed Doctor by the Health and Safety Executive. He has several years of experience and currently provides occupational health support to a wide range of industries including fire services, construction and other private sector clients.

OH Physician

He worked as a GP partner for many years near St Albans, before specialist training in occupational medicine. He has worked throughout London and the south-east in the financial sector, public sector and health service. He also has a broad knowledge and experience within the industry sector. He is currently a Consultant Occupational Physician for National Health Service, as well as consulting for other occupational health clinics in London for an independent provider.

Patience is a Registered nurse with over 30years of experience in different specialties including midwifery, General Nursing, Women’s health, Fertility Speciality, District Nursing and Occupational health nursing.

She has a proven track record of managing large teams within a multidisciplinary Healthcare environment including multinational companies. Motivated in developing and improving work processes within medical health. Experience of over 20years developing and mentoring staff through seminars, classroom lectures and in-service training.

She also has strong focus on orientation towards service excellence and demonstrate a commitment towards services, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanour at all times. Able to gain an understanding of the needs of others, build strong relationship and drive action that is mutually beneficial for both individuals and an organization. Worked in various hospitals and have gained valuable and vast experience and skills in caring for patients holistically in any setting.

Previously worked in the United State of America and Shell Gold Mines in Africa as their Occupational Health nurse.

Patience holds a BSc in Business management from the university of Plymouth.
