We take everyday activities such as bathing, eating or dressing for granted, but may be too difficult for your aging parent or disabled family member. Rapha Homecare provides personal home care services to help individual client to live an independent life and able to carry out everyday activities with no difficulties. Beyond basic companionship and housekeeping, our carers provide sensitive, confidential personal care services in a way that respects individual client’s dignity and wellbeing.

We can work with individuals and family to develop a bespoke home care plan that meets the needs of our clients with one or more of the following personal care services.  

  • Help with Morning & Evening Routines: From help out of bed, to grooming and help with dressing to a nutritious breakfast, our carers can be there every step so the day gets started right. A good rest at night is vital to a healthy lifestyle. Our carers can also assist with evening hygiene routines to help ensure a restful night.
  • Bathing & Showering Assistance: Bathing and showering are needed for good personal hygiene, but may be difficult or unsafe for your aging parent or disabled family member to do alone. Baths and showers can be dangerously slippery places, but we can provide the support individual member needs as part of our home care service.
  • Help with Personal Hygiene: Keeping yourself, or someone you are caring for, clean is essential for good health. Our home carers offer the personal assistance you require to continue the self-care that makes you feel clean and refreshed as well as staying in good health.
  • Help with Dressing & Appearance
    Our carers help with this task if you struggles with getting dressed and undressed, either in or out of bed, and ensure that you can look and feel your best. 
    No matter the age of an aging parents, they still take pride in their appearance. As part of our home care services, we can also assist them look their best with hair care and other grooming tasks which they might find difficult to undertake.
  • Continence care: Some people have difficulty controlling their flow of urine. Continence problems can cause physical problems such as skin irritation and infection, as well as embarrassment and loss of confidence. While you may not have a problem controlling your bowel or bladder, a mobility problem can make successfully visiting the toilet difficult. Our carers are specially trained on how to provide minimal to full care for aging or disabled people who suffer from occasional or frequent incontinence, all with the ultimate respect, professionalism and thoughtfulness to privacy.
